In the movie of Legally Blonde she has a curly light-Brown perm for hair and has brown eyes. She is first seen when she is called in to testify in the courtroom.

History[]

In her early life, Chutney was canonically a gifted student, particularly in chemistry. She graduated Yale with a business major, and because of such, resents Harvard. Throughout school, her nickname was "Slutty Chutty".

In the court scene, Elle begins shakily cross-examining Chutney; who testifies that; she was home; during her father's murder; but didn't hear the gunshot; because she was in the shower at the time, washing her hair. She then came downstairs to see Brooke leaning over his body, covered in his blood, but admittedly that she had no weapon in her hand, having presumably stashed it. She also recalls earlier that; day she had gotten a latte, gone to the gym and gotten a perm.

Elle gets Chutney to reconfirm all the details, then reveals that washing permed hair within the first 24 hours would have deactivated the chemicals used in it, and Chutney's curls are still intact and that; Chutney should be well aware of this rule as she had 2 perms per year since she was twelve as she mentioned earlier, thus; equaling about 30 perms total. Therefore; she had to have heard the gunshot and would've immediately come downstairs to find Brooke still holding the gun for her story to be plausible.

Exposed, Chutney then reveals that; she didn't mean to shoot her father and thought Brooke was the one coming into the room at the time, as she hated Brooke for marrying her father; when the two women were the same age. With this revelation, the shocked judge orders Chutney to be taken; into custody for the murder of Hayworth Windom and dismisses the case against Brooke.
